Healthy Living question by Jesus: What if the government could give the the people of America an incentive in living healthy?
I just saw Food Inc. and it had me thinking that most of americans are over their normal weight (including me, that’s why this thought.) What if the government could track a way in knowing we live healthy that gives the people who are trying to live healthy a raise in their current employed jobs!
This seems very far fetch I know and I haven’t thought it all through. But what do you think, if possible how could you help my theory.

Try it on a state level. It won’t work but someone should do it for kicks.
If you have a state full of healthy people but they don’t manufacture enough goods or provide enough services to pay for the raises on those healthy people, you go bankrupt. And if you raise the pay, you also have to raise the price of the goods you sell which means it costs more for those who can’t necessarily afford it. Those are unintended consequences of government regulation.
