A diet that is great and works is the diet that gets straight to the point without having to get into any claims that are designed to get you interested in the program. I personally think that you should get into a diet program that is has been created through thorough research and scientific facts. Personally I have found that the best weight loss programs, and I have tried a lot of programs, are the ones that reduce the amount of calories you intake by a small and they will let you enjoy a diet that is rich and well balanced.
The diet should have all sources of protein, carbohydrates and fats in it, but you don’t need a diet that has too much calories. By doing this you will be able to lose weight in a way that is natural so that you don’t have to fact the feeling of being too hungry or tired of the food you are eating.
Keep in mind that it is always good to keep goals in your dieting plan that are realistic because the way that you weight is going to be gradual. Don’t always expect miracles because weight comes off when it comes off so don’t discouraged when it isn’t coming off fast enough for you. Besides in the beginning of any diet the body gets rid of its water weight first. Now you have a healthy diet plan to lose weight fast.

Not old fashion dieting which is just eating right (vegetables mostly) and not eating anything when you’re not hungry; the “new dieting” which consists of possibly eating a carrot or baked potato and then starving yourself for the rest of the day. If so why?

it depends. if you take out all of the nonhealthy foods and add the healthy then yes it is. but if you basically starve yourself then no not really, depending on how long you do it.
